Description

BAE-1084

Intro
BAE-1084 is one of the most versatile EQ channel strips. Known for its massive lows and smooth high-end, it will squeeze the best out of your bass drums, guitars, or synth bass lines.
Description
Inspired by a highly-desired vintage console channel strip EQ, the BAE-1084 is one of the most precise and versatile EQs you can ever get your hands on. The EQ is a synonym for large fat sound with massive lows and smooth highs. It offers extended control over the frequency range, faithfully recreated here.
BAE-1084 brings tone shaping to a whole new level and what you’ve so far considered tiny tweaks now result in unprecedented all-analog sonic detail. Just try boosting at 220Hz – it won’t result in any mud in your sound. The BAE-1084 also offers a Hi-Q button for a narrowing of the mid-band.
History
1084 is modeled after the classic vintage console channel strip EQ by BAE. Building over the legacy of its world-famous 1073 predecessor, this parametric EQ unit is known for its surgical precision which can treat and enhance your frequency specter with its warm and solid analog sound.
We've meticulously researched and observed the behavior of the 1084's Carnhill transformers and all of its vintage components, switches, and wires to recreate the signal flow as faithfully as possible. Now one of the most sought-after EQ channel strips can finally enter the digital domain with all of its original analog prowess carefully preserved.
