Description
VEQ-4K Orange is a rare Japanese variation of the original brown model. It sounds very close to a Pultec EQ and is still in high demand for its clean sound and controls simulating valve EQ curves. The Orange variation is not just another revision but a hardware rarity with a sound of its own.
History
Found on the channel strips of the most important 80s mixing consoles, in the past 50 years, the VEQ-4K EQ series, in all of its four variations was used on numerous records from all genres.
The original consoles, that featured the VEQ-4K EQ modules are still highly revered and sought-after by audio pros and top studios across the globe. Among these already expensive hardware units, the VEQ-4K Orange is a rarity that we are more than proud to have authentically modeled with all of its unique vintage characters. This unit has first been introduced in the 80s but its potential is pretty much endless, especially now that it's been transported to the native domain.
